A new trend was started yesterday as Jalen Green rated the # 1 High School player in the nation by ESPN recruiting guru Paul Biancardi made his decision yesterday to go to play in the NBA G league rather than college . He had many college scholarship offers and many were predicting that he would go to Auburn but the G league put together a $500 thousand package together to lure him. The G league is a development league that the NBA has established . According to Biancardi they are now going to go after other outstanding HS players .
The NCAA must not procrastinate any longer and they MUST allow players to capitalize on their name & likeness . Yes the NCAA said last year that they are moving in that direction but the rhetoric must stop & action must take place .
The times have changed and with the many millions made it is time to allow the players to be part of the action.
